AlexAlex Perez has a background in integrated marketing communications. He has worked on big name brands, government accounts and nonprofits. He’s risen through the ranks of account management to president and general manager of advertising agencies. His experience includes digital, traditional, branding, business development, events, and multicultural marketing.
Has successfully led the strategic campaigns and account management for accounts large and small. His experience includes AARP, California Conservation Corps, CareMore, Disneyland, First 5 California, Infiniti, Medicare & Medicaid, Miller, Nike, Nissan, SoCalGas, Toyota, U.S. Army, Walmart, Wells Fargo Bank, and more.
In addition to marketing, Perez has been successful in business development, diversity certifications, supplier diversity, strategic partnerships, government affairs, and Diversity & Inclusion programs.
Perez has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from California State University Northridge and a Certificate in Management Development for Entrepreneurs from UCLA Anderson, School of Management. He also possesses certificates in Advertising and Marketing & Merchandising from UCLA, along with a certificate in Nonprofit Management from Loyola Marymount University.
Perez is active in community, he serves on the Board of Directors for Coalition for Educational Development and is on the business strategy and communications committees for JVS SoCal. He’s an active member and ambassador of the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce; additionally, he’s the chair for Westside Connect. He also serves on the advisory board TechFire, an organization supporting the local start-up community.
Alex is bilingual/bicultural in the Latino culture.
